Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Teach & Reach WhatsApp Program (“Teach & Reach WhatsApp Program”, “the Program”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website and our WhatsApp AI-tutor service (the “Service”). The Program is operated by R EduVista, an AI-driven technology company. Badlaav SRF, a registered non-profit, supports the Program’s outreach and distribution; it does not operate the Service or hold your data.

By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the Service:

• Educator & institution details - teacher or administrator name, institution name, email address, phone number and billing details.
• Teaching material - the notes, textbooks, chapter files, past papers and instructions you upload to build your AI tutor.
• Conversation data - the doubts students send and the answers the AI tutor returns over WhatsApp.
• Usage and device data - log data, IP address, browser type and how you interact with the dashboard.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the Service and your AI tutors.
• Process your uploaded material so the tutor answers strictly from your own content.
• Route messages through the official WhatsApp Business API and deliver replies.
• Bill your institution accurately and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Provide support, share usage summaries with the educator, and send service and security notices.
• Improve the Service - always on aggregated or de-identified data.

We do not use your private teaching material or student conversations to train shared or third-party models.

Students and their privacy

Protecting students is central to the Program. Tutors work with anonymous conversation identifiers rather than student names, and one teacher’s class is never exposed to another. Where students are minors, the institution or teacher is responsible for obtaining any consent required under local law before inviting them, and for using the Service only for legitimate educational purposes.

We do not knowingly collect more student information than is needed to answer a doubt and give the teacher an aggregate view of how their class is doing.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Meta Platforms - to send and receive messages over the WhatsApp Business API.
• AI model providers (such as OpenAI) - to generate answers from your uploaded material, under confidentiality terms and only for your tutor.
• Cloud infrastructure - conversations and content are stored on Google Cloud in the India region.
• Payment processors - to handle billing on our instructions.
• Legal - where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users and the public.

We never sell your personal information or your students’ conversations.

Data security & isolation

Each institution’s teaching material and conversations are logically isolated. Data is stored in the India region, messages run on Meta’s encrypted infrastructure, and we apply access controls, encryption in transit and industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can delete documents and conversations from your dashboard at any time, and request full deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new “last updated” date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice.
